The scope of machined components is extensive in both high-density isostatic graphite and extruded materials. Industries covered include aerospace, jewellery, tungsten carbide, diamond, aluminium extrusions, vacuum furnaces and glass, amongst others.

David Hart (Alcester) Ltd was founded in 1974 by Paul David Hart Richards and his wife Gillian.
As a long-established company with a wealth of experience and knowledge, the company can assure reliable manufacture, machining and supply of graphite and carbon products
to the most exacting specifications within both metallurgical and refractory industries.
The company imports the highest grades of isostatic graphite to be machined into continuous casting dies, moulds, crucibles for a variety of industries both at home and abroad.

Artificial Graphite
Our granular graphite is guaranteed to 98% minimum Carbon. It is sieved to size and packed in 25kg, bulk or specially designed bags as requested.
Our most popular grades, but not restricted to, are our H74 (1 – 3mm), H74L (1 – 8mm), H75 (0 – 0.25) and H76 (0 – 0.05mm).
Natural Graphite
The company sources the best natural graphite or plumbago from around the world. Our natural graphite is guaranteed to 85% minimum Carbon. Our most popular grade is our H21 (80% less than 0.075mm).
Petroleum Coke
The company supplies pet cokes which meet a minimum of 99% Carbon content for supply to cored wire and other specialised manufacturers.
Our current specified grades include our C122 (0.8% maximum Sulphur) and our C116 (0.4% maximum Sulphur).
Scrap Graphite
What do you do with your scrap graphite?
We buy clean, uncontaminated graphite (no powder) for our own production.
